Masturbation

Masturbation can be seen as an act of 'self-love' or 'self-abuse' . In earlier society masturabtion was seen as an immoral act. It was not a topic to be talked about amongst anyone. However in todays society does not carry the stigma of been 'dirty' or immoral. It is an act that today can be talked about openly with friends especially amoung men, women are less open about this topic. However there are some members in society that may find it 'dirty' or immoral as well as some religions that may hold this view. 'masturbation is not a sin in itself. The Bible doesn't say anything on the issue of masturbation. It only speaks to the sin of improper lust. So wrong desires are the sin, not masturbation. ' (http://www.new-life.net/mastrbte.htm). Therefore although socitey s more open about masturbation, it is not atopic that most people would want to talk about as there is still a little of that stigma that it is dirty and immoral in especially in certain religions.
